How can I sign up for treatment at your Centre for Fruit Treatment? - Just call us and make a reservation. I am not able to remain in the Centre. Can I follow the treatment at home? - Yes. First, you must call and make an appointment for ambulatory consultation and after that you can come to the Hotel "Lebed" at the respective day and hour with all your medical records (if you have). Can I receive instructions for the treatment at home on the telephone, without coming for the initial visit? - No. You may receive instructions only after a doctor has seen you at the Centre. We offer telephone instructions only to persons who have been previously treated by us. Can I come to the Centre without making a reservation first? - We prefer not. You risk waiting a long time and we may be short on rooms. May I make my food adaptation period after the fasting at your Centre? - Yes. We offer complete food adaptation period to the patients willing to do so at the Centre. May I stay at the Centre with a person who is not a patient? - Yes. In this case he/she pays as an usual hotel guest. How long is the duration of the first treatment? - 15 - 20 days, and with the food adaptation period about a month. If you are not able to spend such a long period at the Centre, you may continue the treatment at home. May I stay at the Centre less than 10 days? - No. If you are not able to spend 10 days for treatment with us, come for a consultation following which you may be able to accomplish the treatment at home. The first visit is with a minimum stay of 15 days. May I eat anything else besides the fresh fruits, and teas with honey during the treatment period? - No. The consumption of foods, which do not require energy for digestion, is in the core concept of the method. You will have the personal experience that this is much easier and enjoyable than previously thought. I have heard of fasting. Is this the treatment at the Centre? - Yes, although “fasting” does not exactly reflect the essence of the treatment. At the very least, because during the treatment period there is no feeling of hunger. The treatment regimen resembles the traditional Bulgarian fasting period (for example before Christmas and Easter holidays.) My general practitioner (GP) is strongly opposed to this type of treatment. What should I do? - Our treatment system does not contradict the traditional medical practices, but rather complements it. We will take care for you to have an interpreter but prior arrangement through the phone is necessary. I need to have medical tests made. Can this be done at your Centre? - You may have the following tests made at the Centre: all blood sample tests, urine testing, EKG, ehography of abdominal organs, Doppler sonography of blood vessels. If your illness requires additional testing, you must do so prior to your arrival. The hospital environment depresses me and I don’t know if I will feel comfortable at your Centre? - The Centre resembles a luxury, high-class hotel and therefore does not have the typical hospital atmosphere. Numerous entertainments like daily trips, walking tours, dance lessons, films,disco nights etc. are organized daily. The medical doctors do not wear the traditional white coats and the purpose is the patients not to have the feeling for being in a hospital. At the same time there is 24-hrs-day, round the clock doctors watching for the health of our patients.
